A Japanese-style painter, who was active chiefly in the In-ten (by Japan visual Arts Academy). Since he burned his 10 fingers at the age of 2 years old, he could not paint with griping paintbrush, but had continued painting with holding one in both hands. He got high acclaim for his paintings of the beauties with traditional style and modern women chiefly after the World War II.
