KOMURO Suiun1874-1945

A Japanese-style painter in early time of Japanese modern art. He played an important role of establishment of the Salon of Japan (the Bun-ten) as a representative of the conservatives. And he made many standard works of the Nan-ga (one of Japanese-style paintings mainly for a man of letters).
