UMEHARA Ryuzaburo1888-1986

A Western-style painter in Japan. He was active in the Showa period, called ‘The Epoch of Yasui and Umehara’, with his rival, YASUI Sotaro. He made a decorative style of painting with gorgeous vivid colors and touches, called ‘The Umehara Style’.
