TAKABATAKE Tatsushiro1895-1976
A Western-style painter in Japan. After he studied the modernism in France, he was active chiefly in the Independent Art Society in Japan. He painted many landscapes full of poetry with naïve observation on nature, based on the tons of dark brown.
