OKADA Saburosuke1869-1939

A Western-style painter in the Meiji period of Japan. He brought up many coming painters in the Tokyo School of Fine Arts and the Hongo Art Institute. He was famous for nudes of Japanese women in landscape shining soft lights with elegant touches.
