OKA Shikanosuke1898-1978

A Western-style painter in Japan. Before World War II, he stayed in Paris to exhibit the Salon d’Automne and the Salon des Independent. After that he was active chiefly in Shunyo-kai in Japan. He is famous for works with silent feelings in using original pointillism.
