Hiroshima Museum of Art

A Western-style painter. He is known as a Surrealist in Japan. His painting “Landscape with the eye”(1938, Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art) is one of the representative works in Japanese Modern Paintings. However he died too young at 38 years old.
